Multirange Shunt (0.02%) The model MRS Multirange Shunt is designed for use with and extends the usefulness of "150 MV" potentiometers or precision digital voltmeters in the precise measurement of direct current (up to 15 Amperes) and in the calibration of DC Ammeters and Wattmeters. The Multirange Shunt has eight ranges which are selected by a range selector switch. Each switch position indicates a multiplying factor and the maximum measurable value. LOW VALUE RESISTORS precision standard low power dissipation reduces errors due to self heating traceability to NIST (NBS)
