The Model RS Resistance Standard is
constructed using
a low temperature coefficient material mounted in a metal case
through which oil can be circulated to maintain a constant temperature.
The specified value of the resistance standard is taken across
a pair of "potential terminals" which are used for
measuring the potential drop across the resistor.
